A Walk Thru Clay County represents the best of my photographs that chronicle the beauty and mystery of place. Clay County Alabama is extremely rural – my town Ashland has a population less than 3000 – in fact, the whole county only has 13,000. I have spent the past 10 years documenting it thru my photography.
This has been a labor of love and an absolutely fun time driving the back roads with my friend Linda Rochester who by the way is a fantastic story teller. She grew up in Ashland and knows all the back roads and interesting stories about the people and places that make up my small hometown. I hope to feature some excerpts of her Clay Co. stories that are soon to be published. Navigate over to my Portfolio menu and view this new collection.
